The Bible was originally written in Aramaic and parts were written Greek when the Romans occupied the Holy Land.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">One of those misinterpretations , is transcribing Eternal Life as Everlasting Life. They are not the same though they sound similar .<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">ETERNAL LIFE is a life that draws its essence from Eternity and is sustained by God in all of its ramifications.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">EVERLASTING LIFE is when you live forever because you have Eternal Life.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Bible defines Eternal Life as knowing the only true God and Jesus whom He sent ( John 17:3, 1 John 5:11) it also states that Eternal Life is a promise from God to those who believe in His Son Jesus ( John 6:54, 1 John 2:25).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Gods plan was simple , to help replace wages of sin with payment of righteousness ( Rom 5:21, Rom 6:23).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This gift is predicated on an intimate relationship with Jesus and) cannot function without Him ( John 5:39, John 15:5, 1 John 5:13, 1 John 1:7).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">God sent Light into the dark world and the world did not comprehend it. Jesus is that light and His entrance into you brings light. ( John 1:1-12) When you stop being in fellowship, the light dims until it can\u2019t be seen anymore . This is when our spirit is seared and we grieve the Holy Spirit ( Eph 4: 30).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Salvation is free but it\u2019s not cheap . It took God Jesus. Your part is to believe in Him and follow His commands . You keep beholding Him in a mirror until your image is transformed to that of Jesus ( 2 Cor 3:18).<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">I gave my life to Jesus properly about 26 years ago , I got Eternal Life and my instructions come from Eternity and my obedience has been transforming me into the image of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I die daily and He lives more and more in me. If I continue along this path till He comes back or till I die , I will have Everlasting Life.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">I urge everyone reading this to examine their lives in light of the scriptures and to work their salvation with fear and trembling so you can end well .
